For a striking handkerchief make the embroidery all in white with white lace on a red handkerchief. A white handkerchief with white lace against black hemstitching and embroidery is most unusual; in fact any color combination you select will be attractive.
NOTE: Adapt this pattern to a pillow case by using larger size thread.
To make this lovely handkerchief you will need 6 double pointed steel knitting needles size 16, one steel crochet hook size 14, a ball of number 150 crochet cotton and a linen handkerchief with a hemstitched edge.
